Stomach acid is critical for normal digestion and it's one of the body's first lines of defense. It kills off dangerous opportunistic pathogens (i.e., harmful bacteria, viruses and parasites), helps to break down our food into usable nutrients, creates digestive enzymes and more.
Additionally, conventional ulcer medications deplete the body of critical vitamins and minerals (including B vitamins) which are necessary for digestion and other body system function. No Guts, No Glory! is designed to absorb extra stomach acid that otherwise would remain unused and could irritate internal tissues, and it draws it safely out of the digestive tract. The body will have the ability to function normally, utilize the stomach acid it needs to help keep your horse healthy, and not suffer access acid pooling in the stomach.

Add-On Option: Available with organic Licorice Root powder for a higher level of support. Licorice root is an adaptogenic herb which helps to manage stress and can promote healthy adrenal gland function, repair ulcers, strengthen the immune system against foreign pathogens such as bacteria, fungus, and viruses, and more.
We recommend only using the Add-On Option of Licorice Root temporarily (maximum 2 months), and then allow the body a break. You could also alternate; 1 month ON, 2 months OFF. Too much licorice root can cause electrolyte imbalances (retained sodium, depleted potassium, resulting in increased blood pressure). Email us with any questions.

Our Show Safe formula includes acacia senegal fiber. Acacia is a prebiotic which supports bowel stability, helping to correct diarrhea and reducing stress on the digestive tract. It can also be helpful for horses with metabolic disorders, supporting balanced blood sugar levels.
Serving Size: 1 scoop (35 g), for every 1,000 lbs of body weight. Divide between AM & PM offerings, if possible.
Feed Instructions: You can wet down the herbs when adding to the meal, making a slurry. If you prefer to feed it dry, just please be sure your horse has access to ample fresh water. Please feed 1-2 hours after medication.
