Our digestive support blend, No Guts, No Glory!, is designed for horses with ulcers, acidosis, anxiety, weakened immune systems, allergies & more. It provides multi-faceted support for your horse's digestive process.
Our carefully chosen ingredients work together to create a synergy which supports optimal gut function, normal stools, appropriate stomach acid levels, recovery from ulcers / ulcer prevention and more.
No Guts, No Glory! works harmoniously with the body’s natural digestive processes, absorbing excess stomach acid and soothing internal tissues, instead of interfering with production of stomach acid like Proton Pump Inhibitors (PPI's). Stomach acid is actually critical for proper digestion, as it helps to fight off harmful pathogens in the GI tract, breaks down food, produces digestive enzymes & supports proper absorbtion of nutrients.
No Guts, No Glory! can also be helpful during periods of stress (vaccinations, rapid weather changes, antibiotic use, trailering, moving to a new barn, etc).

"No Guts, No Glory!"
If you've experienced poor gut health, you understand it can impact your whole immune system, leaving you with a wide range of health problems, pain, discomfort, anxiety, allergies and more. By recovering gut health, we can feel victorious again! Gaining strength, energy, balance and waving goodbye to weakness and imbalances... we can more fully experience the glory intended for us! The very same goes for our beautiful horses.
Our modern world is abundant with hidden chemicals and foreign substances which can wreak havoc on gut health and the digestive processes, opening doors for a long range of illnesses. By optimizing diet and providing advanced TLC for the gut, we can better maintain or reestablish a strong immune system. Remember, the majority of our immune system resides in our gut!
As an alternative to OTC or prescription drugs for ulcers, No Guts, No Glory! works to safely absorb excess stomach acid instead of interfering with or halting the body's normal production of stomach acid. Stomach acid is critical for optimal digestion as it works to kill off dangerous opportunistic pathogens (like viruses and parasites), helps to break down our food into usable nutrients, creates digestive enzymes and more. In addition, mainstream ulcer medications can deplete the body of critical vitamins and minerals (including B vitamins) which are necessary for all bodily functions. No Guts, No Glory! is designed to absorb extra stomach acid that otherwise would remain unused and can irritate internal tissues, and it draws it safely out of the digestive tract. The body will have the ability to function normally, utilize the stomach acid it needs to keep your horse healthy and not suffer from access acid.
Herbs to the Rescue
Mucilaginous herbs such as slippery elm bark and marshmallow root provide a protective coating to sensitive internal tissues with a compound called mucilage, derived from polysaccharides. This beneficial mucilage is a gel-like substance that lubricates, soothes and recovers inflamed and damaged mucous membranes, relieving pain and reviving function.
Unlike OTC and prescription drugs for ulcers, No Guts, No Glory! is nutritious, offering a wide range of beneficial vitamins, minerals, amino acids and other phytonutrients. Instead of creating nutrient deficiencies, it can help to replenish stores, assist the body in reaching homeostasis and offer the nutritional tools the body needs to heal itself.
How to offer No Guts, No Glory!
Due to the rich mucilage content of No Guts, No Glory!, it is recommended (but not mandatory) to mix the powder with room-temperature water (approx 1/2-1 c) and let this mixture sit for a few minutes, prior to feeding. This will allow the mixture time to thicken into a slurry for feeding or syringing. If your horse is willing to eat the resulting thickened mixture on an empty belly, this is optimal. However, if you're under restrictions due to boarding or a busy life and must offer No Guts, No Glory! with a meal, that is completely ok! Just add water to activate. If you must feed it dry, please just be sure your horse has access to ample fresh water.
